Hudson Valley Geology for Historians and Poets

Are you passionate about environmental issues? Are you interested in the history of the Hudson Valley? Are you a poet? If so, this event is for you!

Join Scott Craven for a look through a historian’s eye at the unique geology of the Hudson River Valley. Learn about the geological impact on the creation of our nation, the building of the greatest city on earth, and the development of our very own Hudson Valley community.

This event is the first in a four-part series covering essential elements of the rich history of this area. Over the next several months, we will look at the geology, indigenous peoples, arrival of slavery and the rise of industry, and the environmental movement. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for more details as these events are posted.

NOTE: Our events frequently reach capacity, so if you are interested in attending, please register ahead of time to ensure you get a seat!
