Sip & Spin your way into Wednesday evening with a special queer night at Hudson Valley Books for Humanity. Co-hosted by Bethany Arts Community visiting artist John Jarboe and Christina Picciano of the Hudson Valley Queer Collective, this event celebrates the music of trans artists. Hang out for live performances by Jarboe and fellow artist Emily Bate + a special pop-up of the Hudson Valley Queer Collective’s LGBTQ+ Listening Library (slight edits throughout these few sentences) —an interactive, curated experience showcasing music by queer artists from the 1960s to today, presented across vinyl, cassette, and CD formats. Drop the needle, hit play, and feel the power of queer art.
Come get a sneak peak into Jarboe’s upcoming show Rose: You Are Who You Eat at Bethany Arts Community, purchase a signed record, or just hang, flirt and drink rosé.
