First Annual Lower Hudson Valley Bioregional Confluence — Three evenings, one evening or all three — Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and Orange counties, together as one region. Each evening's discussion is free-flowing, opening with reflections on the day's theme:
"Bioregional Kinship," Tue, Sept 8, 6:30pm — Hudson Valley Books for Humanity, Ossining
"Bioregional Knowledge," Wed, Sept 9, 7pm — Irvington (Hosted by Charlotte Binns, Village of Irvington, Sustainability Director, location TBD)
"Bioregional Governance," Thu, Sept 10, 7pm — Hilltop Hanover Farm, Yorktown (foraging walk at 5:30pm)
Paired with r3.0's 13th Annual International Conference: "Bioregional Regeneration as Collapse Resilience." Each morning explores that day's theme online, 10am–noon, with speakers from six continents. Recordings posted shortly after. Regenerative Strategies' mission is to build a thriving ecosystem of community, shared-ownership, and land-based businesses and nonprofits throughout the Hudson Valley by originating, catalyzing, and providing technical assistance to bioregional projects. It was founded by Stephen Filler, a co-founder of the Society for Earth Law and attorney with 30 years of experience as counsel to renewable energy companies, sustainable businesses, nonprofits, and startups in the region.

Expected to join are municipal Sustainability Directors such as Charlotte Binns from Irvington (hosting on Wednesday), and folks from Sierra Club Lower Hudson Group, Hilltop Hanover Farm (hosting on Thursday), and Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions (WASS).
