Join us to say NO to nuclear and NO to data centers.
Holtec, the company in charge of decommissioning Indian Point, President Trump, and Emiljana's opponent all want to re-open a nuclear facility at the Indian Point site. Holtec is also studying the feasibility of putting a data center on the site.
Join us to support Emiljana in her fight to stop both of these projects and learn about why they are not right for the Hudson Valley.
“I am up for re-election in November, and my opponent wants to bring back a nuclear facility at Indian Point.
As I sit on the Indian Point Decommissioning Oversight Board, I have maintained a hard line against re-opening a nuclear facility, and I strongly oppose developing a data center on the site. We need to think about our beloved water, land, and air, and not make hasty decisions that put our future at risk. While we work to restore revenue to the Hendrick Hudson school district and the Village of Buchanan, we have to be anchored in our values and fierce defense of the Hudson River. I do not take the loss of family-sustaining jobs lightly, or the fiscal challenges brought on by the loss of revenue. This property is a gem, and we need to have a vision for its future that aligns with our beloved river, sky, and land.”
