What’s on Ruben’s Mind?

When we last saw Ruben, he shared his first book of poetry with a devoted audience of friends and fans. What is he up to now?

You might discover a newly-published novel. Or a memoir he's noodling while touring on his motorcycle—Kerouac style. Or folk music inspired by his time spent in Western Tennessee. This Ossining native will no doubt bring his raw energy, his curiosity, and his soul to our stage. We hope you’ll join us for an evening of deep reflection, spontaneous entertainment, and brutal honesty.

Tickets available for $5-$15 here or at the door.

About Ruben

Passionate about social justice, Ruben resists conformity when it comes at the expense of others or actualization. All these characteristics pour into his work in an experimental expression of longing to belong and navigating the complications of identity in this hyper individualized and informed age.

Ruben is a proud Uruguyan-American and Ossining local. He is sitting on many projects and intends to use the money generated from this event toward his long discography of work.
